Good news for fans of THE HEDGE KNIGHT comic and graphic novel. I have just signed an agreement with the DB Pro for a follow-up series, a full-color comics adaption of the second Dunk and Egg novella, "The Sworn Sword."
The novella originally appeared in Robert Silverberg's anthology LEGENDS II, (Del Rey), and picks up the adventures of Dunk and Egg two years after the fateful tournament at Ashford Meadow.
The Dabel Brothers will be releasing the adaptation as a six-issue comic miniseries and later as a graphic novel. Ben Avery will script the book and the art will be by Mike S. Miller. They're the same folks who did such terrific work on THE HEDGE KNIGHT, so I expect THE SWORN SWORD comic to be just as good. Look for it in your local comics shop some time in 2006.
